About This Game
Whack-a-Mole is a fast arcade game played on a 3 by 3 grid of holes. One active target appears at a time, and hitting it adds one point before the target moves to another hole. The normal round lasts 30 seconds, so the challenge is to react quickly without wasting taps on empty holes. Your best score is saved locally in this browser.
How to Play
- Press Start Game to begin a 30-second round.
- Watch for the active target in the grid.
- Click, tap, or keyboard-activate the active hole to score.
- Ignore empty holes because they do not add points.
- Use Play Again after the timer ends to start a fresh round.
Rules
- Only the active target gives points.
- Each successful hit adds 1 point and moves the target.
- The target also moves automatically during play.
- Scoring stops when the round finishes.
- Best score is saved locally in this browser.
Tips
- Keep your eyes near the center of the grid so every hole stays in view.
- Tap deliberately; empty holes do not help your score.
