About Connect Four
Connect Four is a two-player strategy game played on a 7-column by 6-row board. Players take turns dropping pieces into columns, and each piece falls to the lowest open cell.
How to Play
- Choose a column to drop your piece.
- Red and Yellow alternate turns on the same device.
- Build horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines while blocking your opponent.
- The first player to connect four pieces wins.
- If the board fills with no winner, the game ends in a draw.
Rules
- The board has 7 columns and 6 rows.
- Pieces always land in the lowest empty cell of the selected column.
- A full column cannot accept another piece.
- Four connected pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
- Moves stop after a win or draw until Restart is pressed.
Tips
- Watch the center columns because they can support more winning lines.
- Block obvious three-in-a-row threats before building your own plan.
- Look for diagonal setups as well as straight lines.
- Avoid giving your opponent a winning drop on the next turn.
